 Strawberry Smoothie Bowl

Having a smoothie bowl could be a great way to start your day or a relaxing way to end your day.

I really love smoothies and a smoothie bowl is even better, you get to add your favorite toppingsand fruits + you don't need to blend all of your ingredients smoothie-ly.
When you need that crunchiness and loaded vitamins snack/meal, a smoothie bowl is the way to go.
Recipe: Strawberry smoothie bowl
Yield: 2

Ingredients

6 Frozen strawberries
Yoghurt (I'll be using Plain unsweetened yoghurt)
Honey
1/2 cup of coconut milk ( Almond or Soy milk can also be used)
Ice cubes

Toppings:

1/4 cup of Granola
1 tbsp of Chia seeds
Dried coconut flakes

Method

  • Combine frozen strawberries, yoghurt, honey, ice cubes, and coconut milk in a blender. Blend until smooth.
  • Pour into a serving bowl.
  • Sprinkle chia seeds, dried coconut flakes, and granola on top of smoothie.
  • Relax and enjoy.
There are different varieties of yoghurt available; you should choose the one that is suitable for you health-wise. Yoghurt aids in weight-loss.
